Hi, Divine One!
This year (2016) has been in many ways an incredible year. My business has been easy and flowing. And my personal life has had some serious shake-ups.
The year began with Pixie passing. You have heard about her in past emails – a beloved little kitty who was sick her last 3 years of life. It was my true honor to care for her. Losing her was hard.
But it was made easier by the three kitty siblings we adopted in late 2015, Baba, Amma, and then last Gaby (Gabriel, our white Christmas angel kitty) who made me laugh, and who could never get enough snuggling.
His gratitude and pure joy of life took my breath away. It was like he was always saying “Thank you for adopting me. Thank you for getting me out of that cage!”
I would get teary thinking of what my life would have been like had I not said “yes” to adopting him. (If you’re a furbaby lover, you know what I mean.) 🙂
Then in the spring my mom had some serious health issues and passed out while she was driving. She totaled her car, and was shaken up and mildly hurt, but ultimately ok after lots of tests and challenges. (Thank you, God!)
Life evened out for a while. Business was good. It was fun. Classes were great. Peace reigned.
Then, on September 22, Gabriel died very unexpectedly. He was just 17 months old. Losing him just took the wind out of my sails.
It was a hard loss, and I still miss him terribly.
Right upon losing Gaby, the USA had a traumatizing election season, and a shocking election. The pre-election stuff brought up old painful issues about sexual assault and trauma. I worked hard to clear it while still dealing with the loss…
… and omg, there was so much coming so fast. My tools were being used all the time, and I was making old choices: not enough exercise, too many comfort foods, wanting to cave it up.
My own energies were demanding that I pull within so that I could cope and maintain my commitments private clients, to my family, to my own life.
The Ho’Oponopono Prayer says:
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
It’s one I’ve been using a lot this year. It will shift your energy from anger and loss into peace. It works, it really does. (Sometimes I have to repeat it 10 times before I begin to notice anything! That’s ok. I do it anyway.)

I know I’ve been absent in my emails to you. I’ve been absent in sharing things with you.
I’d think “I really need to send an email,” but I just couldn’t think of anything to say. I couldn’t come up with anything.Â
Sometimes being in the cave looks like that. You’ve just got to wait for it to pass.
Things are more balanced again in my own world. And I have the energy to expand out to share again. (This is the “Thank you. I love you.” part.) 🙂
